Bob Marley Cocktail
Bob Marley, the man himself nicknamed "White Boy" born in Jamaica in 1945 he became a spectacular singer-songwriter and overall great musician.
It's no wonder a cocktail recipe was named after him, this delicious and refreshing drink is popular among visitors visiting Jamaica and is the prefect treat to make you feel the Jamaican vibes anywhere in the world. Bob Marley drink can be made several ways, including either frozen or flaming!
The Bob Marley Cocktail recipe is Jamaican themed with the Green, Yellow and Red colors being layered up. Whether you start with red or green it doesn't matter, as long as the yellow is in the middle you will nail the bob marley recipe. If you have never layered before, it's not hard.
Ingredients - frozen
light rum
blue curacao
orange curacao
strawberry daiquiri mix
fresh mango
sweet and sour mix
lime juice
ice
Preparation
First, start by making the red portion of the drink by combining 1 oz light rum, 4 oz strawberry daiquiri mix and 1 cup of ice in a blender. Mix ingredients and pour into the bottom of the glass.
Next you will need to combine 1 oz of rum, 3 oz of chopped mango, 1 ½ oz of sweet and sour mix and one cup of ice in a blender. Mix ingredients together to create the yellow portion of the drink. Pour only half of the mixture into the glass.
Take the remaining drink mixture and blend with ½ oz of blue curacao to create the green portion of the drink. Pour into the glass. Enjoy!
Side Note: You can garnish this drink with a cherry, slice of pineapple or slice of lemon.
Flaming
The flaming variation on the Bob Marley drink is often consumed as a shot. To make this drink, you’ll need a large shot glass and:
1/3-ounce grenadine
1/3-ounce rum, 151 proof
1/3-ounce creme de menthe
Preparation
Fill the bottom third of the tall glass with Grenadine Syrup
Use a layering spoon to layer on your creme de menthe
Pour onto your layering spoon the 151 on the top third
Light on fire

Please note: You can choose to light this on fire or not, the 151 can be lit, if done incorrectly you can and will burn yourself, make sure to follow correctly.
